Heidi Klum was born in Bergisch Gladbach Germany on June 1 1973. The mother of Heidi Klum Erna had a career as a hairdresser. Gunther Klim Her father was an head of the cosmetics business. Heidi's Dad was earlier a production supervisor for the 4711 corporation. Heidi was raised in the home town of Bergisch Gladbach a city of about 100,000 residents only six miles east of Cologne. Heidi Klum was a model who came from Germany. Klum is now an actress as well as a television host. Her friend (Karin) advised the teenager to join an German TV talent show known as Model 92. Model 92, a German magazine Petra hosted talent show was a part of Thomas Gottschalk's late night talk show. Klum competed against 25,000 contestants from all over Germany and Europe up to the point of being the third semi-finalist. In April of 1992, Klum won the top prize of $350,000.
