Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born on the 20th of February 1937 in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio. Her parents were ironworker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as a housekeeper. Nancy was the sixth of seven children. Nancy's father was an avid music lover and played records at home. It had a huge influence in her early years. By the age of four, she knew she would like to become an accomplished musician. She developed her musical talent through participating in choirs of the church. In high school when she started appearing regularly on Skyline Melodies. She was 15 when won the TV talent show. The nightclubs where she was a regular performer, she began singing at the age of 15. Nancy completed high school at 17 and attended the Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a full year. After that, she left to pursue a job as a professional musician. Her first recording was in Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They toured from 1956 to 1958. In the band, Nancy made her first recording on Dot Records. Cannonball Aderley suggested she relocate in New York so as to increase her chances of success. In 1959, Nancy moved in The Big Town. In just a few months, she was singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club which is located at Boston Road near The Bronx. A representative from Adderley's company heard her sing and immediately took her on. It was a contract with Capitol Records in the year 1960. The year was 1960 when she released her first single. Guess whom I am seeing in the present. Her records were successful and Capitol issued 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Her first album was focused on R&B, but under Adderley's influence, she started to take on jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 was instrumental to make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. This brought her a gig at New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America that year, and she was a household name.
Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actor who works in both television and films. Her most well-known role is the actress playing Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. In the role of she played King Saul Israel's Daughter Michal in ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. She has also appeared in several popular TV series, including The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. Maisie Richardson Sellers was born in England on the 2nd March 1992. She is the daughter of Joy Richardson. She was a student at a private high school before finishing Oxford University. She holds Archaeology and Anthropology degree. Maisie's acting career got underway as an actor with the 2012 short Our First World. In 2013, she played Ellie in a movie called Americano and Rum. She was cast in a small cameo part as Korr Sella for the film of 2015 Short Wars : The Force awakens. Later she starred in the Netflix original movie The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3, as Chloe Winthrop.
