Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson, an ironworker from Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. Her mother, Lillian Ryan worked as a household servant. Nancy was the first out of six kids. Her father was a musician and would play records at home. This was a major influence upon her growing up. As a young girl, she already had an idea of who she was as well as the things she wanted to be. Church choirs was instrumental in developing her talent. The show was on television when she 15 and began appearing regularly on the Tv program Skyline Melodies while still in high school. At the age of 15, Nancy began her journey in night clubs. When she graduated from high school, the 17-year old Nancy was enrolled for a year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before leaving and becoming an accomplished musician. In 1956, she recorded her debut record with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with whom she toured from 1956 between 1956 and 1958. As part of the group, Nancy released her first record on Dot Records. Cannonball Adderley urged her to go into New York in order to advance her career. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in 1959. The singer was brought in to sing for The Blue Morocco Night Club located in The Bronx which was where her agent had seen her. Agent Adderley signed her to Capitol in the year 1960. The year she made her debut was the same year. Guess whom I saw in the present. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a period of two years. Adderley influenced her to move away from R&B in favor of music that was more jazz-based and torch songs. Nancy Wilson's collaboration in 1962 in 1962 with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top, and in 1963 she scored her first success with Tell Me the Truth. The following year, she was asked to perform in New York's Coconut Grove, the most prestigious nightclub in America.

Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress that is active in TV as well as films. She is known for playing in the leading role Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth.
